Terms of service
Effective July 24, 2026
These terms govern your use of Eventful (eventful.club), a marketplace that connects brands and event hosts. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Eventful lets brands publish catalogs of samples and lets hosts request those samples to assemble gift bags for their events. Brands decide, request by request, what to approve; approved samples ship in bulk from the brand to the host. Eventful provides the platform — it does not buy, sell, or ship products itself, and it is not a party to the arrangement between a brand and a host.
A free service
Eventful is currently free for both brands and hosts. If we introduce paid features, we will announce them clearly in advance; nothing will be charged retroactively.
Accounts
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address — there are no passwords. Keep your email account secure: anyone with access to it can access your Eventful account. Accounts are for businesses; you confirm you are authorized to act for the brand or host you represent.
Acceptable use
When you use Eventful, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your business, your events, and your samples.
- Only offer or request products that can lawfully be given away, and comply with the laws that apply to them (labeling, safety, age restrictions).
- Not misuse the platform: no misleading listings, no harassment, no scraping, and no interference with the service or other users.
Your content
Brands and hosts keep ownership of what they upload — logos, photos, descriptions, catalogs. By uploading, you give Eventful a licence to host and display that content so the service can operate. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
Samples and fulfillment
Approval is always the brand’s decision. Eventful does not guarantee that a request will be approved, that a shipment will arrive, or the quality of any sample. Shipping and any follow-up are arranged between the brand and the host; Eventful records the process but does not carry it out.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. In plain terms: we work to keep Eventful reliable, but you use it at your own judgment, and — to the fullest extent the law permits — we are not liable for disputes between brands and hosts, lost profits, or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Québec.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and flag material changes on the site or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
